Executive Director

Kelvin L. Green II is a lifelong advocate, community organizer, and business owner with a passion for helping mission-driven organizations excel in their organizing endeavors. Kelvin has trained 250+ organizers and communicators from 100+ community power building organizations across 20 U.S. states (primarily the South and Midwest) and Colombia. Kelvin specializes in developing integrated organizing strategies that combine on-the-ground and online interventions for candidate and issue-based campaigns.
Kelvin received his Bachelors of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, his English Diploma from Phillips Exeter Academy, and his Chinese Diploma from Haiwai Xuenian Zhongguo (School Year Abroad China). Kelvin is former campaign staff for Sen. Elizabeth Warren (MA)’s 2020 U.S. presidential campaign; Attorney Evandro Carvalho’s 2021 Boston City Council District 4 campaign; and 19-year-old Omar Mohuddin’s historic 2023 Woburn mayoral campaign.

The Hon. Jacquelyne Weatherspoon has over 25 years of experience in U.S. politics. She has served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives; the U.S. State Department with Diplomatic Status; the U.N.; Club de Madrid, Peace and Security in the Greater Horn of Africa; as well as abroad with assignments in Africa, Eastern Europe, and on three Delegations alongside First Lady Hillary Clinton.

Margaret J. Young, M.B.A. is a former IBM Strategy Executive and General Manager of Ogilvy’s Consulting Division. She has worked with American Airlines, Wachovia Bank, General Electric, AT&T and First Union Bank. Margaret received her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and B.A. from Trinity College.

BOARD MEMBER
Peter F. Hurst, Jr., Esq. is the President and CEO of the Greater New England Minority Supplier Development Council (“GNEMSDC”), a regional affiliate of the National Minority Supplier Development Council. GNEMSDC is focused on promoting economic inclusion and minority business development throughout New England. Mr. Hurst received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his A.B. from Duke University.
